Vitamin D Deficiency Linked to Chronic Headaches

A new study from the University of Eastern Finland published in the journal Scientific Reports showed that Vitamin D deficiency was associated with an increased having of chronic headaches.

The study analysed vitamin D levels of 2,600 men aged between 42 and 60 years.

The men who had low  levels of Vitamin D in their blood were greater than twice as likely to suffer from chronic headache. These were found to be an even greater problem outside of the summer months of the year, when sunlight provides a natural source of vitamin D.

There have been many studies that have shown a link between Vitamin D deficiency and many types of medical problems.
