REGENERATIVE MEDICINE- STEM CELL THERAPIES

WE OFFER A VARIETY OF REGENERATIVE MEDICINE - STEM CELL TREATMENTS

REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

Advances in Regenerative Medicine have allowed Dr. Sobo to offer his patients access to the cutting edge technology of both BIO X STEM and ORGANICELL EXOSOMES. Stem Cells have been the subject of research for their effectiveness for a variety of disorders. The conditions that stem cell therapy may be effective for include disorders for which there may not be, at present, any effective medical treatments such as neurological and autoimmune disorders.

Our office has participated in research studies that are underway in the field of stem cell therapy. Therefore, we can offer our patients convenient access this advanced tech therapy here in Stamford, CT, in Optimal Health Medical’s caring and nurturing environment. These investigational therapies have followed treatment protocols which had been designed by a research IRB (Institutional Review Board).
The main goal of this therapy is to augment the body’s natural repair system by increasing the amount of available stem cells that aid the body in their natural restorative process.

  • Peripheral Vascular Disease

Our Patient-Focused Mission
Our Regenerative Medicine technologies strive to reach patients before their condition advances to a critical stage. If you or a loved one is
seeking help with conditions for which current treatments are ineffective, or wish to have a non-invasive alternative to surgery and/or drug treatments, with their risks and side effects, then consider stem cell, and exosome technology. Dr. Sobo remains committed to whole patient care utilizing the latest medical research.
As insurance will not cover investigational therapies, costs for these treatments are the responsibility of the patient.

BIO X STEM- Human Cell and Tissue Products

SUPPORTING REPAIR AND HEALING

HylaJel and Hyla Pure are minimally manipulated, DMSO- free, cryogenically preserved human birth tissue allografts derived from the umbilical cord. These structural tissues contain extracellular matrix, such as elastin, Hylauronan, (hyaluronic acid) collagen fibers, and fibronectin, and naturally occurring tissue components such as growth factors, cytokines, and nanoparticles. BioXstem’s HCT/Ps are processed from bio-ethically donated human birth tissue from healthy, consenting mothers in the United States who have passed a comprehensive medical background check, blood screenings and had full term, live C-Section births.

BioXstem products are processed in accordance with standards established by FDA and American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) to minimize potential risks of disease transmission to recipients. Infectious disease testing is performed at a certified laboratory in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and 42 CFR part 493+. BioXstem products only come from a lab that is AATB accredited and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) certified.

HYALURONAN Hyaluronic Acid. Being increasing recognized as helpful in the treatment of the joints, skin, hair, acid reflux and bladder pain from cystitis. Hyaluronic acid injection is used to treat knee pain caused by osteoarthritis and various joint, ligament and tendon injuries.
Hyaluronic acid is similar to a substance that occurs naturally in the joints. It works by acting like a lubricant and shock absorber in the joints and helps the joints to work properly.

COLLAGEN Collagen accounts for 30% of your body’s protein. It provides structure, support or strength to your skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues.

FRIBRONECTIN Fibronectin (FN) is a ubiquitous and essential component of the extracellular matrix (ECM). It functions both as a regulator of cellular processes and an important scaffolding protein to maintain and direct tissue organization and ECM composition.
During tissue repair, the body acts in a series of tightly regulated steps to rapidly reconstitute damaged tissue.

GROWTH FACTORS Essential for tissue repair and healing

CYTOKINES another crucial element in the healing and regrowth of tissues

NANOPARTICLES Increasingly recognized as beiubg able to help a variety of maladies. These nanopaeticles-tiny in size -can overcome biological barriers and enhance the delivery of therapy to the target site of injury and needed healing.

The Next Generation of Biologic Medicine

We are now using the secretions of stem cells and growth factors, increasing their availability, and decreasing the complexity required to incorporate the patient’s own stem cells themselves into the treatment process.

The Organicell™ Difference

Isolating the beneficial signals given out by stem cells and using them rather than the stem cells themselves are the next generation as a therapy. Other cells will react to these messaging signals and will change their behavior accordingly. There is a tremendous therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles, particularly exosomes.

THE MESSENGERS- SEE HOW EXOSOMES WORK

Extracellular vesicles (EV’s) consist of exosomes and microvesicles, which are released directly from the cell membrane. EV’s can mediate cell–cell communication and are involved in many processes, including immune signaling, angiogenesis, stress response, senescence, proliferation, and cell differentiation. EV’s are involved in restoring tissue and organ damage, and may partially explain the paracrine effects observed in stem cell-based therapeutic approaches. The function and content of EV’s may also harbor information that can be used in tissue engineering, in which paracrine signaling is employed to modulate cell recruitment, differentiation, and proliferation.

GROWTH FACTORS & CYTOKINES

Growth factors are proteins that may act locally or systemically to affect the growth of cells in several ways. Various cell activities, including division, are influenced by growth factors. Cytokines are proteins that are produced by numerous cell types and are responsible for regulating the immune response, inflammation, tissue remodeling and cellular differentiation. Target cells of growth factors and cytokines are mesenchymal, epithelial and endothelial cells. A complex network of growth factors and cytokines guides cellular differentiation and regeneration in all organs and tissues. These molecule can act in a paracrine or an autocrine or fashion.

PARACRINE and AUTOCRINE SIGNALING

Paracrine signaling is a form of cell-to-cell communication in which a cell produces a signal to induce changes in nearby cells, altering the behavior of those cells. Signaling molecules known as paracrine factors diffuse over a relatively short distance (local action), as opposed to autocrine signaling which travel considerably longer distances (via the circulatory system).
